Erika T. Wurth is an Indigenous American author of horror and dark fiction. She is the author of WHITE HORSE and THE HAUNTING OF ROOM 904. WHITE HORSE was a New York Times Editors Pick, a Good Morning America Buzz Pick, an Indie Next selection, a Target Book of the Month, and a Book of the Month Club pick.
Wurth is both a Kenyon and Sewanee fellow, and her work has appeared in publications including The Kenyon Review, BuzzFeed, and The Writer’s Chronicle. In addition to her writing, she is a narrative artist for the Meow Wolf Denver installation, where she contributes to immersive storytelling experiences.
Erika T. Wurth teaches creative writing at Western Illinois University and has been a guest writer at the Institute of American Indian Arts. Her work often explores identity, place, grief, memory, and contemporary life through horror, literary fiction, and poetry.
Raised outside of Denver, Colorado, Erika T. Wurth lives with her partner, stepchildren, and extremely fluffy dogs.
